It seems like yesterday that I finally found it in me to create this website. It has been a long and hard journey but every bit rewarding.
I started Planning The Magic because when I was halfway through college, I managed to take myself and little sister to Disney World for a huge bargain. After that trip, every member of my family and their friends/co-workers/acquaintances have pulled me aside to ask me how I did it.
If I have these tricks, why wouldn’t I help everyone that I could? I do not come from a well-off family, in fact, we were middle-class for most of my life until one day we hit rock bottom. That doesn’t mean I didn’t deserve an amazingly magical trip to Disney World.
Everyone deserves that, don’t you think?
So I created my site and my eBook to help as many people as possible.
Top Posts for the Year
I wouldn’t be here without the support of many bloggers and podcasters out there. Just know that my gratitude is immeasurable. With that, I’d like to point a few out.
I can’t say enough to thank Kimberly from Fit Disney Mom. From showing me to be in as many blogger groups as possible, guest posting opportunities, helping with ways to monetize, etc. You name it and she probably told me to do it. I wouldn’t be half as successful without your advice.
MouseScouts Podcast for our amazing chat but the incredible refinement of my logo. You rock!
Hannah from Eat Drink and Save Money for opening the door to Facebook groups, giving me one of my first guest post opportunities, always giving me tidbits of advice, and the chance to contribute to Beautiful Budget Life
Points to Neverland because we are on this journey together.
Many more have helped me with advice here and there. Thank you, you have no idea how much those words meant to me and my site.
Here’s to another year of hard work and helping people have that dream vacation.
