Covering roughly 40 square miles, it is home to over 25 resorts, 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, and the ever-expanding Disney Springs. Your map can help assist you with the proximity of your hotel to all the parks and places to see.

Disney World Transportation Map

Disney World has several modes of transportation. With your transportation map in hand, you can easily find the best way to get to your next destination. Whether you get there by bus, boat, monorail, or gondola, you’re going to want to know the best route depending on where you are staying. It’s advised to give yourself 60-90 minutes to get to your destination.

Disney Skyliner Map

Disney’s newest mode of transportation will take you high in the sky. The Disney Skyliner travels from several Disney World Resorts, straight to Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway at Epcot.

Having your map in hand, you can easily figure out which route would be most convenient to you. Just like all modes of transportation at Disney, the gondolas are free of charge! The Skyliner is extremely convenient to a list of Disney World hotels.

Disney Springs Map

Theme Park Maps

The Walt Disney World Resort features four theme parks and two water parks. There is no doubt, there is something to do for every member of your family.

Magic Kingdom Map

Magic Kingdom is home to six different sections or “lands.” Using your map, you can easily navigate through Main Street, U.S.A, Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, and Adventureland. 

Boasting right around 50 rides, there is something for every member of your family to enjoy. Main Street is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat or buy one more souvenir.

There are some changes to note due to COVID-19. As of December 2020, the fireworks show and all parades are put on hold due to the pandemic.

Epcot Map

Walking through Epcot, you can explore its two different themed sections, World Showcase and Future World. As you are planning for your next meal, be sure to try one of the numerous restaurants found in the World Showcase section. Hollywood Studios Map

Home to the famous “Tower of Terror,” Hollywood Studios is a must stop for your Disney vacation. The Hollywood Studios map is a great source for showtime information, ride location, restaurants, and shopping.

Animal Kingdom Map

Animal Kingdom has a safari ride that makes you feel like you are actually driving through Africa. Have your camera handy, because the animals may come right up to your jeep.

Typhoon Lagoon Map

Typhoon Lagoon has seen many changes over the years and your map is the perfect place to check for the latest information. While closed currently, the water park is scheduled to be re-opened on March 7, 2021. Before you plan your trip to the Disney World Resort, you will want to check for any changes to that date.

Once you get to dive into the fun again, you can start planning your waterpark vacation. Don’t forget to pack your swimsuit so you can make your way around the lazy river or down one of their many waterslides. 

Typhoon Lagoon is a great choice for families with young children. There are several kid-friendly rides and splash areas.

For the big kids, don’t forget to check out the Lagoon Surf Pool and attempt to ride one of their giant waves. If you want to take a water break, you can stop at one of Typhoon Lagoon’s two miniature golf spots.

Blizzard Beach Map

Like Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach remains closed until March 7, 2021. Blizzard Beach spans across 66 miles and has water fun for everyone in the family. The water park has a lazy river that winds 3000 feet around the park. Looking at your Disney World Resort map, you can find where you want the lazy river to take you next!

If you are one for thrills, don’t miss the Summit Plummet slide. It’s not for the faint of heart though. With a 120 foot drop, it’s the fastest and tallest ride in the water park.

Disney World Value Resorts

Disney World Resort offers six value resorts that are a little more budget-friendly than some of the other ones. As of December 2020, several of the Disney World Value Resorts remain closed due to COVID-19. You can check here for updates regarding which resorts are open and closed.

Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort

The All-Star Movies Resort is the perfect place to stay to feel like you are in a Disney movie yourself. In the “Toy Story” section, you’ll feel transported right into Andy’s room. Walking around the property, you’ll see familiar faces from movies like “101 Dalmatians” and “Fantasia.” Your map will help make sure you don’t miss a thing!

Disney World Resort plans to re-open the All-Star Movies Resort on March 22, 2021.

Disney’s All-Star Music Resort

The next of the value resorts is the All-Star Music Resort. You don’t have to like music to have a fun stay here. Looking at your Disney World Resort map, you can find where to pose with a giant guitar on the side of the hotel. After your long day at the parks, you can take a dip in the guitar-shaped swimming pool.

Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

The newest of the value Disney World Resorts, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort boasts a creative design throughout the premises. Opening in 2012, the value resort has a classic Disney feel to it. From “The Little Mermaid” to “Finding Nemo,” Art of Animation has something for everyone to enjoy.

The Art of Animation Resort is currently open.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort

Staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort will take you back in time a little bit. The lobby is decorated with memorabilia from the 1950s to the 1990s. Using your Disney World Resort map, you can find the Skyliner entrance and take a ride in the sky.

The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort

If you love the outdoors, you will thoroughly enjoy staying at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. There aren’t many places where you can have a sing-a-long with Chip ‘N’ Dale around a campfire. As an added bonus, you are just a short boat ride away from Magic Kingdom.

Be prepared to do a bit of walking, the cabins are about a 30-minute walk to the dining options on the premises. You can rent a golf cart for easy transportation around the campsite.

Disney World Moderate Resorts

If you are looking for something a step about the value resorts, take a look at the list of Disney World moderate resorts. You’ll pay a little more but the extra amenities come with the price tag.

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

The brightly colored resort is the largest hotel on Disney World Resort property. Boasting over 200 acres, your Disney World Resort map will come in handy to explore the hotel premises! 

Going along with the Caribbean theme, you will find yourself staying in Trinidad, Martinique, Barbados, Aruba, and Jamaica.

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort offers an American Southwest/Northern Mexico theme. Their rooms, also known as “casitas,” are surrounded by fountains, topiaries and even bushes made up of the characters from “The Three Caballeros.”

The Coronado Springs Resort is a very large property and if you aren’t up for all the walking, you’re in luck. They offer an internal shuttle system around the hotel premises. The hotel boasts a salon, fitness center, and arcade center.

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter

If you are looking for some Mardis Gras fun without leaving Florida, you’ll thoroughly enjoy your stay at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter. Portraying the charm of New Orleans’ French Quarter, you are transported as soon as you walk through the doors.

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside

Originally called Dixie Landing Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside is themed around the Antebellum South along the Mississippi River. Your Disney World Resort map will help tour the spacious resort’s two parts: Magnolia Bend and Alligator Bayou.

Port Orleans – Riverside has the most elegant feel of any of the moderate resorts. Taking a boat ride down the river that runs through the hotel, you can travel to the Port Orleans – French Quarter and the Disney Springs Marketplace.

The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort

The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort let you have the feeling of the real outdoors without actually having to stay outdoors. Sitting alongside Bay Lake, you can easily catch the boat to Magic Kingdom.

The cabins have a nice kitchenette area, which means you can save money by not going out for every meal. If you are looking for activities on the property, you can rent bikes, go fishing or even go horseback riding. Don’t forget to join Chip ‘N’ Dale around the campfire at night.

Disney World Deluxe Resorts

When you are looking for a luxurious Disney World Resort stay, look no further than the deluxe resorts. You will pay a pretty penny for your room but you likely will have no regrets about the experience. The Disney World Resort map will help you decide where on the property you’d like to stay.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

There aren’t many hotels where you can look out your window and spot wildlife. At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, you may just see a giraffe when you wake up for your morning coffee. While you can see the animals from specific common areas around the property, if you book a Savanna View Room, you can feel like you’re on a safari without having to leave your room.

Animal Kingdom Lodge is a little further away from Magic Kingdom but you’ll be able to get to Animal Kingdom Park within minutes via bus.

Disney’s Beach Club Resort

One of the many perks, and possibly the best, of staying at Disney’s Beach Club Resort is the location. You have the ability to walk to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. If you aren’t up for the walk, you can also take the boat or Skyliner.

The Beach Club Resort offers a stunning outdoor area. Take a look at your Disney World Resort map to find the lazy river, pirate ship slide, and a sand bottom pool. You can easily take a day off from the parks to stay at the hotel. You definitely pay for all the amenities you receive. If you can wait until the offseason, you likely can get a better rate.

Disney’s Boardwalk Inn

Walking distance from the Beach Club Resort, is Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. Transporting you to the boardwalks on the Atlantic coast, Disney World Resort brings a charming seaside inn with the Boardwalk Inn. You can easily take the boat to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

The real sight to see is the boardwalk that lights up at night with games, nightclubs, and restaurants. If you don’t have the opportunity to stay at the Boardwalk Inn, you should definitely check out the boardwalk for a fun night out.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort

From watching the monorail come through the hotel, to having the chance to have a room view of Cinderella’s Castle, Disney’s Contemporary Resort has a lot to offer. As you can tell on your Disney World Resort map, it’s the only hotel on the property that has walking access to Magic Kingdom.

Try to reserve a dinner table at the California Grill for an amazing view of the fireworks. They aren’t easy to get, but if you can snag them, you won’t be disappointed.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Disney World Resort knew what they were doing when they built Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. With style and grace, it’s the go-to for many when they want a luxurious stay at Disney World. From giant chandeliers to live performing orchestra, the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is a must-see.

The Victorian-style gives way to its modern amenities. You can book a tea party or a private dinner in the chef’s kitchen. Book a table for dinner at Narcoossee’s and you can catch the fireworks over Cinderella’s Castle from the restaurant window. Sitting on Bay Lake, the monorail gives a quick ride to Main Street U.S.A.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

You start feeling the theme of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort as soon as you want into the front doors. 

A Disney cast member greets you with a festive lei as you walk into the lobby. Take a moment to find the outside beach area on your Disney World Resort map, so you can secure a seat to watch the fireworks. 

If you can fit it into your schedule, the outside luau can’t be missed. The Polynesian Village Resort is a stop on the monorail route, giving easy access to the Magic Kingdom. You can easily walk to the Transportation and Ticket Center to catch the monorail to Epcot.

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

If you love the outdoors but camping at Fort Wilderness isn’t your speed, you will love Disney’s, Wilderness Lodge. Walking into the lobby, you’ll likely hear the crickets chirping away. 

During your stay, you can walk along the outside corridor to watch the geysers go off. It’s a sight not to be missed.

An easy boat ride to Magic Kingdom, the Disney World Resort offers the Disney feel with a secluded feel. You can also use the boat to get to Wilderness Lodge and the Contemporary.

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort delivers when it comes to luxury. When the theme of a New England yacht club, the hotel gives a dignified feel. You can easily access Epcot or Hollywood Studios via boat access. As you can see on the Disney World Resort map, the new Skyliner is just a short walk away.

The Disney World Resort offers amazing dining options that will please even the pickiest of connoisseurs. The pool is reason enough to stay there. The Yacht Club Resort has a 3-acre sandy bottom pool with a lazy river not far off.

Disney World Deluxe Villas

The Disney World Deluxe Villas offer amenities that are perfect for longer stays. Rooms come with either a full kitchen or a kitchenette area, depending on room size. Most villas are more spacious than traditional Disney rooms, allowing you to fit more guests.

The timeshare program allows Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members special access to these hotels. You don’t have to belong to DVC to stay at the villas, but they do get first dibs.

Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

The Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort provides a short walk to Main Street U.S.A at Magic Kingdom. Featuring studios up to two bedrooms, there is plenty of room for your whole family. You’ll see on your Disney World Resort Map that it’s a short walk to the Contemporary Resort.

 The Bay Lake Tower has a bar at the very top, Top of the World Lounge, and will give you amazing views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks. They even pipe in the same music you’d hear if you were in front of the castle.

Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

The rustic feel is strong at the Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Each room has hand-carved furniture and boasts references to Bambi throughout. Each room has a patio or balcony with it.

Buses are available at Wilderness Lodge for transportation, as well as the boat to Magic Kingdom. Take a look at your Disney World Resort map so you know exactly where the pools are for when you get back from a day at the parks!

Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

The other option at Wilderness Lodge is the Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. This newer addition gives you the feeling of being outdoors, all while being minutes away from Cinderella’s Castle. Staying at the villas, you can enjoy all the amenities the Wilderness Lodge has to offer.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House

Staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House is a trip within itself. You may find you never have to leave the hotel property. 

Looking over the African savanna, be on the lookout for one of the 30 species of animals that call it home. Jambo House boasts a refreshing pool area, complete with a play area.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village

As a DVC member, you have another villa option at Animal Kingdom. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village is going to be very similar to the Jambo House. There are more rooms at Kidani Village and they are slightly bigger. The property at Kidani Village is very large, so prepare to do some walking if your room isn’t close to the lobby.

Disney’s Beach Club Villas

The Disney World Resort map will show you how easy it is to access Epcot and Hollywood Studios from Disney’s Beach Club Villas. The villas have the look of 20th century New England oceanfront homes.

 Check out the 50s themed restaurant, Beaches and Cream, with some over the top ice cream desserts. While you can share the pool at the Beach Club Resort, there is also a private pool for guests staying at the villas.

Disney’s BoardWalk Villas

Walking into the property of Disney’s BoardWalk Villas, you likely will feel you are stepping into Atlantic City, circa the 1930s. 

The villas are situated right on the boardwalk, which has easy access to restaurants, nightclubs, and more. Like the rest of the hotels near the boardwalk, you can easily walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

Disney’s Old Key West Resort

Disney’s Old Key West Resort provides the laid back feel you’d get if you were in Key West itself. With boat transportation to Disney Springs, the Disney World Resort offers a relaxing vacation spot. The colorful building colors will make you feel you are only steps away from Duval Street.

Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows

While you receive the same amenities as the original resort, Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows provide a unique lodging experience. The villas themselves are similar enough to the regular rooms at the Polynesian. 

You’ll see on your Disney World Resort map, the Bungalows are situated right on top of the water outside the resort. With a perfect view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks and its own plunge pool, it’s definitely a one-of-a-kind stay!

Disney’s Riviera Resort

The newest DVC hotel is Disney’s Riviera Resort. Giving you the feeling of being in the European Riviera, the Disney World Resort offers 300 state of the art rooms. The Disney Skyliner has a stop at the Riviera Resort, giving guests easy access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

The pool area provides for a refreshing break from the Florida heat. With an oversized pool and a children’s water play area, you may never want to leave.

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is currently going through a huge renovation process. While the resort is currently open, you will want to be aware of the ongoing construction that is supposed to last through 2021. On your Disney World Resort Map, you’ll see the resort is within a short walk of Disney Springs which is a major plus.

The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa delivers when it comes to luxury. Opened in 2013, it brings the elegance of the flagship Disney World Resort, The Grand Floridian, with a newer touch.

Rooms are more updated than the original hotel with the added bonus of kitchenettes and larger room options. The villas have their own separate entrance and lobby for check-in.

Where to Find Physical Maps at Disney World

Knowing right where to get your Disney World Resort map will be extremely helpful in the long run. No matter where you are on the premises, a map won’t be far away.

Every theme park and resort has maps handy for your use. Be sure to pick one up when you buy your theme park tickets. Disney Springs has an information center where you can find maps to all the various parks. If you are having trouble finding one, be sure to find a cast member to ask.

Can I order Disney World Maps?

The maps you would pick up at Disney cannot be mailed to you, but there is an app to download that will come in handy during your trip.

Download “My Disney Experience”

Having the “My Disney Experience” app on your phone before your trip will help you get familiar with how the parks and resorts are laid out. Having a guide to the Walt Disney World Resort at your fingerprints will be extremely handy on your magical trip.

On the app, you make reservations, reserve your fast pass, check showtimes, and more. It will also be a great place to check for the latest restrictions and guidelines because of COVID-19.
