3.  Birnbaum is the ONLY official guide to Disney World. Even I purchase it yearly because of all of the coupons at the back.  You can easily make up for its cost and more.  In fact, I saved hundreds with this book on one vacation.  ($13.59)

4.  With the new Disney App, giving you access to ride times, and FastPass modifications, you can easily kill your phone battery.  And we haven’t even added in photos yet.  Make sure to get a high-quality power bank like this one that can CHARGE YOUR PHONE UP TO 5 TIMES or more! ($39.99)

Perfect for those rain storms at the theme parks.  It’s great not having to walk around in wet sneakers.  My shoe of choice has to be Croc.  And don’t worry, they come in many different styles.   ($23.00-$40.00)

7. Save at a hundred or two by providing yourself water at Disney World.  Each bottle of water is approximately $3.50.  Use a filtered water bottle to fill up at the water fountains or by requesting free cups of water at the parks.  Try these Brita Sports Bottles ($14.99 for 2)

8.  I’m not sure what the science behind this is, but the sun in Florida is SO strong.  I don’t actually sun burn but I still make sure to put sunscreen on as often as possible.  Make sure to bring it with you in your daypack.  Don’t let a sunburn make your kids or you cranky. ($7.57)

Great tips for what to bring along with you. I live closer to Disneyland, but I’ve loved all of my trips to WDW. Hope to be back soon to enjoy Pandora.

My husband and I been planning on a trip to Disney. At first we said we have to wait till we have our child but it seems like God has a good plan for us and we have to trust his will. So while waiting we probably will visit soon. This post is very helpful for us.

We had our 2nd family trip to Disney this year and I wish I had that waterproof backpack! We had a backpack but after one ride as a family on a water tube we learned that the waterproof compartment didn’t live up to the hype…

Oh that’s terrible. I have one for my camera that’s waterproof but I always but the extra cover on it in case.

Excellent list. Wearing comfortable Croc shoes is a great idea. Especially if you plan on going on the water rides.

Yes! I know they aren’t the prettiest but even after a full day at the parks my feet won’t hurt at all. They’re so comfortable.
